WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? 

​

Imogen is a Sydney based Makeup Artist, operating from her home studio in the Sutherland Shire.

​

DO YOU TRAVEL? 

​

Currently, Imogen is only travelling for brides and commercial clients.

​

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL

​

Imogen is available interstate and internationally and  travels up to 4 hours by car, before requiring a flight to your location. Flights and accommodation when necessary are to be met by the client. The exact requirements to book Imogen at your location are discussed prior to booking.

WHY DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?

​

Your exact travel fee is calculated using a number of different factors such as distance, petrol, toll road fares, wear and tear on car, time packing and unpacking work station, and revenue lost during travel time. A travel surcharge is necessary in order for a mobile service to be feasible, thus a minimum travel fee is charged to all locations. Imogen follows the cents per km rate set by the ATO before factoring in these additional expenses.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK MY MAKEUP WITH YOU?


You are able to book an appointment online up to 6 months in advance; this includes event makeup and bridal trials. Brides may secure their wedding date up to 15 months in advance; this lead time is consistent across the board and unfortunately we do not open our books before this time. Imogen does not offer exceptions to remain fair among her clients, and maintain a personal work life balance.

WHY ISN'T THE DATE I NEED SHOWING ONLINE?

​

If a date is unable to be booked online, this means Imogen is unavailable (unless it exceeds the 6 month booking period, then the date has not opened and please check back later). The booking system will always reflect Imogen's entire availability in real time, and may change with cancellations.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT?

​

In order to change your appointment to a different time or date, simply cancel your current appointment and create a new booking. Appointments cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

​

There is a link to cancel at the bottom of your confirmation email sent by 'Schedulista' and you have free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. We respectfully ask that you manage your own appointment so it can be cancelled instantly and become available for others to book. Our emails cannot be monitored constantly, so this is the best way to avoid missing the 48 hour cut-off. Any cancellation made after this time will unfortunately incur the full cost of the reserved service; strictly no exceptions. We acknowledge that this outcome is not desired by either party, however it allows Imogen to operate this business. Thank you for understanding!

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

​

Imogen accepts exact cash and eftpos payment on the day of your appointment. Imogen does not accept pre-payments via bank transfer, PayPal, or similar online systems.

WHY IS BRIDAL MAKEUP MORE EXPENSIVE?

​

Not only does the makeup itself require more time, preparation, and products, but you are receiving months of ongoing communication and support in the lead up to your wedding day. Your wedding vendors are cementing their work roster 1-2 years in advance, which requires a great deal of sacrifice with respect to personal commitments.  Unlike event makeup, bridal makeup means operating outside of traditional working hours, completing out of scope tasks, and investing more energy into every of your day. This, combined with increased responsibility and admin play a factor in the inflated cost. Imogen's prices reflect her demand, quality of work, and allow Imogen to block off entire days so that she can remain on location until you leave.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN A BRIDAL TRIAL?

​

A trial is not a requirement to book Imogen on your wedding day, however it is highly recommended. Even with full trust in Imogen to execute your dream makeup, she suggests collaborating on your look 4-8 weeks out from your wedding date, so you can make any adjustments based on your feedback.

DO YOU OFFER A RECEPTION TOUCH UP SERVICE?

​
